The Tulip Festival is a celebration of the return of the warm months to Ottawa. Throughout the city, tulips begin to blossom in mid May. We have approximately one million tulips in the city, all of which bloom in spectacular colours.

There are many places to view the blooming tulips. Walk along the Rideau Canal nearby The Business Inn & Suites, or take a stroll down to Major’s Hill Park. There are spectacular tulips everywhere in Ottawa in May, and they’re uplifting.
